THE TSUNAMI GAME wave effects and safe reactions
THE TSUNAMI GAME's official description promises over 100 waves, including harmful, helpful and joke waves. The community catalog claims 127 at the time of our check; its gallery includes duplicates and uneven documentation. Use names as a lookup aid, not a complete table of verified speeds or spawn odds.
| Wave | Documented effect | Useful reaction |
|---|---|---|
| Acrid Wave | Community guide describes a full heal | Recognize this exception to the usual damage rule |
| Hole In The Wave | Moving opening; cubbyholes can still be hit | The community guide recommends using a trench |
| Fraud Wave | Applies the effect used in the AFE entry sequence | For that route, take Fraud before Bricks |
| Bricks Wave | Transfers you to The Battle Bricks | Expect to leave this game; cannot be summoned according to creator correction |
| Lava Wave | Used in the Wall of Flesh summon method | Check the full server and summon requirements before using the doll |
| Freezer Wave | Community reports a client-crashing effect | Treat it as disruptive; a disconnect is not proof of a ban |
| RNG Wave | Random outcomes; exact rewards remain unclear | Do not budget around an unverified payout or probability |
Search the community wave catalog
Search by a wave name or part of one. The catalog below preserves the names extracted from the community wave gallery, with duplicate names removed. A listed name does not mean that its damage, speed or probability is known.
For waves with useful source detail, use the action table above. For a boss encounter, open the boss guide instead of interpreting a gallery icon as a complete strategy.

Why a “weight” is not a drop chance
Some community pages contain a weight value. Without the complete selection pool and its rules, that value is not enough to say an event happens in a fixed percentage of waves. Acrid's page, for example, shows both a weight field and an effect description; the effect is useful without turning the weight into unsupported probability math.
Severity and server population add further conditions. The official game warns that rare items are less likely in smaller servers. The Severity calculator computes shop costs only; it does not predict the next wave.
Wave Garage and summon limits
The official Tsunami of Knowledge badge is tied to completing the Wave Garage. Individual summon costs and permissions differ: the community lists Acrid at 8 Tokens, while the corrected AFE creator comments explicitly say Bricks cannot be summoned.
For the AFE route, the Mechanics page lists Fraud as summonable for 4 Tokens. Applying Fraud does not let you force Bricks to appear. Wait for the necessary wave sequence, or use the hidden-wall shortcut after Secret Media.
A practical crossing routine
- Check the preview for the next named wave.
- Choose shelter based on that wave's behavior; do not assume a cubby works for all of them.
- Leave enough room to return with the pickup rather than extending every run to the next zone.
- During bosses, watch their separate attacks too. Totario footage shows beams and fire around the shelter entrance.
- If the wave teleports or disconnects you, identify the cause before assuming a progress reset. Troubleshooting separates transfers, temporary restrictions and session purchases.
